Simple pleasure; Michael Jackson, doing whatever that thing is he does.

Thriller went on to become the top selling album of all time with more than 100 million copies being sold. It spent 80 consecutive weeks in the top 10 (first of 3 in history), and out of 9 songs, 7 went on to be top singles. These included the eponymous Thriller, Billy Jean, and Beat It.

It is also worthy to note that the moonwalk first appeared in the Billy Jean video.

Update: Since his death, Sony's sales have increased by over 900% in the following months.
